So what's going on? Less than two weeks until your birthday and I haven't heard a single muttering of plans for celebrating. I expect better of you, Parvati! And if there aren't plans, we should make them, even if it's just something small. Also, presents! Is there anything in particular you want?
I'm so sorry I've barely seen you the last couple of weeks. I've been kind of throwing myself into work at the garden and, well, you know what I'm like when there's a new boy. Luckily, I think my grandmother has her own special gentleman otherwise I think she'd be noticing more that I'm not always there in the morning!
Working more for my dad means I don't keep thinking about the shop so much. I don't know. Maybe I'm having some kind of crisis of faith, or whatever you want to call it. I like working at WWW, but I'm wondering if I'm starting to get bored too often there. Considering I only work four hour shifts, this probably isn't a good sign. I know I should ask for more hours or responsibility, but I'm kind of scared about talking to George, which is just so ridiculous.
And sorry for all that - I just started writing and it wouldn't stop. One of these days I really will get better at the whole communicating-by-writing thing. The written word has never been my friend.
I need to feed you and other people cake sometime soon, too. One of my grandma's friends wants me to think about making the wedding cake for her granddaughter's wedding. Not only is that a scary thought, but the money she offered is obscenely terrifying in a good sort of way.
Did you get an invitation to Draco Malfoy's birthday party? If you did, any idea what you're going to wear?
