A tough spring
If you think of spring as being March 1 through May 31, I have to say that this period of "meteorological spring" has been pretty difficult. Well, I'll cheat and expand it through the first week of June.

Anger, politics, uncertainty
I have been thinking a lot about posts on facebook that discuss punching Nazis.- Yes, there are people in the US who carry similar ideologies to the Nazi party.
- Yes, Nazis are bad.
- Yes, there are bad people in positions of power in our country.
- No, this is not new, but it is more out in the open, and it has gotten worse.*

The temperature has dropped from 42 degrees to just 14 degrees in less that 24 hours, and our heat pump is working valiantly, if not quite successfully, to try to keep up. Weekday Snow = fun! Weekend snow = sad.

Last night I dreamt I was talking to my former Zen teacher. We were at his house, and he was giving me a tour of his backyard that he was preparing for someone's birthday party. December has been quite the roller coaster
Here are some events from December, in no particular order (not even chronological)
I had the winter concert, which ended up being okay. I can't complain.
Samantha had her birthday. She had her first slumber party. She has nice friends, and it went well. We "screened" Guardians of the Galaxy, so I decorated with an outer space theme.

The loom is clear!
Way back, over a year ago (but only a few posts ago) I blogged about my double-weave project. Last night after coming gome from Thanksgiving dinner, I finally finished the weaving and got it off the loom.
