I am spending hours this morning editing English for Slovak speakers for a UNICEF benefit next week. Danka is the project manager organizing her third annual Garden Party in Bratislava. And it's official for the Slovak and Czech Republics, Hungary, Poland, Malta and Slovenia. They are in the European Union and I still can't believe I'm missing the parties.

My Euronews TV station is now repoprting from Riga, Latvia. It's official: Cypress (South Greek part), Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia have all now become EU members. They're in the Eastern Europe time zone with me here in Bulgaria. The other 6 will officially enter in less than 1 hour.
