So, I find it amusing that for so long I have always written male main characters, usually because it was easier for me, but now, the longest thing I have written (see wc below) is almost entirely women. So, writing the end was not very helpful to me. I mean, I have places that I can go with the story. A lot of places. I found this truly awesome tool for writing on the lj_nanowrimo community. It is called write or die, and what it does is allow you to set a specific word count and a time limit and then opens up a simple text space and says go. It counts down ( Read more... )

So, the writing is going well, I think. I am trying to get more done on the weekeds so that I don't have to do quite as much on the days I have to work, so I'm not quite where I want to be for the weekend, but I still have all night.
