You know those days where everything just flows, and you OWN it? Yeah, this is basically the opposite of that. I’m feeling hamfisted, clumsy, and a bit dumb. actually i am beginning to wonder as we get older, and consciously? so to speak go deeper into who we are, in relation to our community, culture and the universe, that at the same time we go through periods of feeling hamfisted, clumsy and a bit dumb. for me it seems to be a continuing theme, its like i forget for a time that i am 1 human, and that 2 everyone has something to contribute, and that 3 somedays the flowing will just not happen...

and when we come out the other side of it all have experienced something new, which is not alwasy fun experience new stuff but owi experience new stuff.. but now i understand....

err did that make any sense?

Honestly, I think this particular day was just probably where I was in my cycle. But in a larger sense, I agree. I felt like I had plateaued, and I wanted to level up. I’ve done that, and I’m having to remember the humbling experience of being not very good at stuff and imagining that I’m letting down everyone around me. On this level, my mistakes seem to have higher visibility and bigger ripples ( ... )

Hehe, that might be amusing. I was having a conversation yesterday during which my internal monologue was going "MAYDAY! MAYDAY! ABORT!" and I could do nothing other than continuing to dig the hole.

I sent a light-hearted email with some requested info to a co-worker with the comment "this doesn't look good". He wrote back asking me the criteria upon which my not looking good comment was based.
