Tiedoll was careful with his student, he sighed wishing the boy had listened to him instead of doing his own thing. "Yuu..." he said softly to the comatose boy, "You always made me worry..." he would have chewed the boy out if he were not so hurt.

Once he made it to the door of their home, he lightly kicked on the bottom of it to tell whomever was there to open up for him.

House recognized Daisya's voice at once, and just as quickly recognized that the tone of his voice meant that something was very wrong. A lot more wrong than a torn knee ligament.

He had his cane in his hand and was limping towards the door even before Daisya had finished speaking, but it still took him a few moments to get there. Pulling it open, he saw the unmistakable distress on the young man's features--completely unlike House had ever seen him before.

The furrow in his brow deepened. "What is it? What happened?

"Master brought Kanda home," Daisya said quickly, trying to calm himself so his words didn't tumble out in a dizzy rush. "He's... he's bad, real bad." He grit his teeth and shook his head a bit. "When I left, he was... he was chokin' up blood."

The memory horrified him, and filled him with a new sense of urgency. "I dunno what happened to him, but he's... I've never seen him like this. I'm afraid he's... he's gonna die, so please, let's hurry!"

House turned at once and headed to the kitchen (by now it was more his clinic than anything), leaving Daisya standing in the open doorway. "Coughing or vomiting?" he asked without looking back at him.

His mind was already working fast, trying to predict what instruments he might need, how he could improvise most of what he didn't have, and what he could realistically carry along with him.

He still had the bag he'd stocked with supplies and equipment for his I'm-not-quite-dead-yet "date" with Claire several days before, and he'd even added to it since, but from the sounds of it, this situation would likely call for more than he'd packed in there already.

Daisya paused. "He... he was gaggin', an' then sorta... the blood... yeah. He was throwin' up... I'm almost sure of it."

He shifted his weight, trying hard not to be impatient. He knew House was hurrying, knew the doctor was going to help... and that was soothing. Still, though, a voice in his head was screaming for him to hurry.

"What color was it?" House called from the kitchen as he stuffed a selection of bottles, an archaic intubation kit, and additional needles into his bag. "Were there any bubbles? Anything mixed in with the blood?"

He slung the bag over his shoulder and limped back towards the door. His wheelchair was parked there, conveniently awaiting his next outing. He slid the bag into place over the back handles--the whole system he'd worked out before; it didn't take a great imagination to anticipate that, with the way things seemed to go in Rivelata, he'd be needing it sooner or later.

"You drive," he told Daisya as he stowed his cane in place and sat down. "It'll be faster that way."

"Y'know, I didn't really look," Daisya said faintly, getting behind the wheelchair and pushing it forward. These types of things were not things he paid attention to. He knew he was holding his best friend in his arms, knew he'd thrown up blood, and that was enough to send him bolting out the door.

As he hurried back towards their house, Daisya bit his lip. "What... what do you think... I mean, he'll live, won't he?"

House didn't answer, not because he was trying to be evasive but because, really, he didn't know enough yet to say, and he wasn't going to make anyone promises that he couldn't keep.

Hematemesis--if that's what this really turned out to be--could be very serious. Not tricky or interesting, per se, but without advanced medical facilities and equipment it really could become a difficult case to treat. It wasn't even going to be easy to find the source of the blood with without the kinds of imaging equipment that House didn't have.

He didn't tell Daisya any of this either, though, because it was the sort of speculation that you didn't go sharing with patients' loved ones. Instead he asked, "What was he doing when this all started? Was there trauma--an injury--of some kind?"

"They were on the rescue mission," Daisya said, stopping the chair in front of the Exorcist's home and hurrying around to take the bags of stuff so House could stand. "Master said he was hurt... he didn't go much into it. I don't think he wanted to worry me. They're in here..."

Daisya opened the door and hurried inside, barely thinking to close it after House followed him, and went to the living room. "Master! I'm here... I've brought Dr. House. He can help!"

"Good, come in here." Tiedoll said voice serious, getting up and going to the other man, "Hello, I can try and suppky you with as much information as I can." he said going back int othe other room, where everything he could patch up on his own was done so, and any blood the boy might have coughed up was cleaned up, but the rag used was kept there for the doctor to see incase there was anything with coloration or such he needed to see.

"Thank you Daisya, thank you Dr. House for coming out here."
