Troy was wandering around Rivelata, feeling blue. There was no Gabriella in Rivelata. That made him sad. He wasn't even paying attention to where he was going, when he bumped into someone. "Oof... ooh, geez, sorry..." he said to the guy he'd just ran into.

For just a second, he couldn't control the flicker of anger that reached his eyes, but quickly, Light regained his composure. It wouldn't do to have anything set off warning bells about him in this new place.

"Oh no, it was as much my fault as anyone's," he said, politeness dripping from each word. "I suppose it was kind of stupid of me to just stand here in the middle of the road and not expect to get run into."

Troy brightened at the apology. This guy didn't seem so bad. "Oh. Well, hey, you must be new to Rivelata. I'm... pretty new myself, actually, but has anyone linked you to the guide yet?"

THere was something oddly familiar about this guy, but Troy couldn't quite place his finger on it.

Boring.

That was the exact word to describe this island. No gigantic battles, no fighting everyday, no volcanoes or guns or tanks or Prinnies or ANYTHING she could blow up or command all day. Salvatore walked by a market stall, grabbing an apple when the owner was looking away, cackling as she bit into it, watching a couple of kids with nicely brushed hair squabble about who was standing where and whose fault it was.

"Mortal boys are so stupid."

He smiled, nodding in a relieved manner. "Guilty as charged. As for the guide, I have read it, but reading can only do so much."

Light also noticed an oddly dressed person making snide comments about them. "Perhaps we should also apologize for not meeting a stranger's standards."
