Somehow, Kanda had managed to ditch the two songbirds. He got Komui's message in the journal, bid his not-so-fond farewells, and raced off back home before his two stalkers could blink. Of course, Kanda wouldn't hold it past him if they followed him. They seemed insistent on making him sing and dance and "open his heart" and prance about the park with his own little furry entourage.

He'd rather deal with the jaguar.

Kanda managed to slip through the front door before Sir Prance-A-Lot and his mentally fried princess had a chance to find him. Growling softly from the frustration of it all, Kanda went into the living room, ears flattened slightly and tail twitching in agitation.

Lenalee was already in the living room when Kanda walked in. She gave him a small smile -- the look on his face told her he was definitely not having a good day, and she doubted he'd be very forthcoming with the details right away.

Her left arm rested across her stomach, which was still bandaged and sore from the wound she'd received in her fight with Chomesuke. She hadn't told her brother about that yet. She knew she'd have to sit him down alone when this meeting was over -- she didn't want him hearing about it second-hand.

Daisya wasn't entirely sure what to think when he walked into the room. He hadn't been back since he'd exchanged words with Kanda the other day, and it was a bit unnerving to be in the same room with him and Lenalee again. His tail swished, showing his agitation, though his face was blank.

He chose to lean against a far wall, arms crossed over his chest. He once again wore his Charity Bell attached to his hood, and it chimed lightly as he settled into place. His golem, though useless, flapped amicably and steadfastly by his side. His hood fell a bit to shadow his face, though he watched intently as everyone began filing in.

Miranda wasn't sure how many meetings she had missed. Being kidnapped, held captive, and other such things... She was sure there must have been meetings she'd missed. But there wasn't much she had been busy with; there was no excuse for her not to go this time, and she was glad to comply with Komui's request. It had been a while since she had really seen the others and spoken words with them; too lost in the journals and too lost in the misery of being here, despite the friends she'd made and the company she always had should she need it ( ... )

One by one, they piled in. Lenalee was first, taking a seat nearby, and Komui smiled fondly at her. He was not sure what to think of her relationship with Daisya and Kanda. He was not sure of a lot of things nowadays. She was his little sister, girl, and just wanted to keep her safe and happy. If this made her happy ( ... )
