I'VE BEEN TO THAT! \O/
Ahem.

things I would like to see in the coming series: the Doctor taking on some Waterloo Road pupils as his companions

You realise they would quite possibly bring about the end of the universe entirely by accident as the result of a well-meaning prank? Having said that, still less dangerous than letting any of the teachers loose in space.

Oh, too late. Just remembered who was in '42'. XD

Or. OR. Josh somehow managing to get the Doctor to travel back and unwittingly take Finn on board before he makes like a lemming, not realising that his well-meaning actions will cause time itself to unravel in explosive fashion and making him believe he's caused the death of his father. Who has in fact been 'rescued' by Jack. Or, y'know, something like that. I'll go away now.

I don't know how reading this managed to put the idea of Josh Stevenson/Jack Harkness in my head when surely Tom Clarkson/Jack Harkness is what's being implied, but I'm intrigued.

Wait, who was in '42'?

...WILLIAM ASH WAS IN '42'? I wasn't a great fan of that episode, but I sort of have to rewatch it now.

Look, I don't care about the quality of the song itself: you can't start singing songs about Friday on Tuesday. That way lies total anarchy.

I encourage this! It's a lot of fun, and will make your visit to London the Doctor Whoiest visit possible short of actually visiting with the Doctor.

Afterwards:

ER EXCUSE ME

there is not enough context provided to this particular conversation snippet

why don't you tell all these good people exactly who it was that brought up that song in the first place?

Goodness me, I believe it was Ms Rebecca Black.

(I've just remembered that I didn't get you to play the original Glee songs on the ukulele when you were over here! Nooooo.)
