Disclaimer: Derren Brown Is Probably Not Quite As Evil As Represented Here.

All right: the fic in which Charlie Brooker and David Mitchell find themselves thrown together in the midst of a zombie invasion definitely needs to exist. I say this largely because petrol has introduced me to the mental image of Brooker fighting zombies with a baseball bat, bloodied and sweat-soaked and exhausted, and, for reasons I'd prefer not to ( Read more... )

And the theme of miserable Mark Corrigan continues! Poor man! I do like the murder mysteries, both the musical and non-musical version :D.

He is having such a rubbish time in these questions! Don't worry, Mark, I think we're through the worst of it.

Mind, I imagine that even if the prompt '(Mark's number) has the best day of his life, what does it involve?' comes up, it'd end up miserable regardless.

Undoubtedly true. Oh, Mark. I'd give you a hug were it not for the fact that someone would see us hugging and get the wrong idea, leading to a complicated chain of events that left you crying in a gutter.

Holmes does accompany his own performance with the violin throughout.

This is the greatest mental image of ALL TIME.

His self-accompaniment isn't in the plan or any of the rehearsals, either; he just goes up on stage and whips out his violin. The school orchestra mutter angrily amongst themselves.

I bet he pwns them all over the place. The director tries to shut him up but Holmes just fiddles on like he's possessed, and starts correcting other people's lines. And afterward Watson takes him aside and says you're not meant to DO that on stage, come on, they've both been to the theatre, and Holmes says he detests the theatre, and Watson gives up and gets his notebook out instead.

... they are annoyingly easy to write. It's possible I may commit fic soon.

Yay! I felt awful about murdering any of the characters, though.

I just wanted to let you know that last night, a friend of mine told me that he loved Charlie Brooker and David Mitchell. I said I knew a girl who thought they would make a very cute couple. He instantly agreed, and now likes you without really knowing you.

Hee! I think the liking is mutual.
