Hello! In the north laines there's a shop full of miscellany which is about the size of a warehouse. In it I saw a signed Derren Brown picture which I picked up with the intention of buying it for you, then got distracted by a Spock pose-able doll and put it down. :( Should you want it, I think it was about £12 and opposite all the Doctor Who stuff.

It's a mystery to me about the lack of Peep Show fanfic.

Oh, I love that shop! It is the best place for things you don't need but inexplicably want (I saw a Laurel and Hardy statuette in there once). I probably won't get the picture, because buying an already-signed item feels a bit like cheating, but thank you for letting me know!

Once I saw a TMP-era Spock cuddly toy there. If it wasn't in it's box, I would have bought it and carried it around everywhere like a four year old :DD:

Oh, I'd completely missed the fact that you were moving! Awesome! Whereabouts are you now? (And thank you very much for the offer, which I may have to seriously consider if we don't get some warmth in this house soon. At the moment, I'm sleeping on sofa cushions by the not-very-portable electric heater, because if I slept in my bedroom I would die.)

Probably you went there and saw them, or at least found them elsewhere, but there are a few Peep Show fics on AO3: http://archiveofourown.org/tags/Peep%20Show/works

I ran into a similar problem when musing on sending Derren Brown to Silent Hill, actually. 'Broken glass? Potential for injury? I can't send him to Silent Hill if he'd enjoy it.'

I feel that this is a good reason to TRY sending Derren Brown there. In the name of experimental science!

I have indeed found those (Dafna Greer's are delightful), but thank you for the link! AO3 is the only archive I've found that actually has a Peep Show section; I'm hoping the existence of the category will encourage more people to write for it.

There's actually a Brown-in-Silent-Hill segment planned for the ridiculous Derren-as-the-Doctor's companion fic I'm writing with moogle62, but as that fic is now twenty-two thousand words long and nowhere near finished I'm starting to doubt whether it will ever see the light of day.
