I am late to post this, and for that, I apologise. Both the lovely letter from cyanshadow (reply is on its way!!!) and the amazing parcel from lightofthewind arrived just in time for German Christmas (24th Dec)! Being majorly stressed out since pretty much early November, they were things I very much looked forward to unpacking right on the 24th (my first day of break),

Right? IDK whether to put it with my bath supplies or craft supplies tbh...
And thank you, but no worries. I have vey dry skin on my hands, especially in winter and now with the constant washing/disinfecting. and also a bad habit of picking at it when I get stressed, so :'D According to my GP, I heal the moment he cuts, though, so the bandaids are brief guests...

Hope you're all healthy :) The stomach bug was indeed annyoing, but at least I made the right call by staying home for NYE, because my brother had guests over (thinking his sickness was a week passed by then) and still passed it on :') But I'm pretty much always sick during the holidays, as soon as my stress level goes down, so does my immune system /seaweed arms

No need to apologize since (as you can see) I’ve been even more delayed in both posting my own squee post and giving you a proper reply orz (Can really relate to the lack of brainspace…. I haven’t felt able to write a full sentence that’s not work-related - and even those are starting to get increasingly trying - in weeks or even months

I feel we're going to be going in circles apologising at this point :'D Life has been so busy I didn't manage to reply until now, sorry! I have fully recovered, yeah, which I think is thanks to stress just keeping the machine going haha :'D

Aw, too bad about the novel, but on the other hand, they are currently licensing them left and right, so maybe an official version will be availabe soon enough, English or German! :)

The cough drops are still unopened on account of me miraculously not yet having caught anything cold-wise this year /knocks on wood
But I'm sure they'll come handy at some point! I have a looooud 6th grade....

Speaking of being mumble weeks late with Starbucks, I'm very glad to hear that my letter arrived in a timely fashion! :D (Even if, alas, my response to this post did not. XD) (Although I hope your stomach at least is feeling much better than it was at the time of your original post. XD)

Your lovely response has also made its way safely to me, btw! Almost certainly at least two weeks ago, because somehow opening and reading it did not manage to translate into any other useful action on my part in anything remotely resembling a timely fashion. 🤷‍♀️ I hope to respond to the rest of its contents at some point but in the mean time I hope your January has been going well and that your new semester goes/is going smoothly!

lightofthewind's package is also a thing of delight! So many cute and/or delicious things, and that scarf looks the MOST COMFORTABLE. <3 (Also adding my +1 to everyone's admiration of the jade seal soap!

Don't worry - as you can see it took me a solid month to reply, too, because work is currently just eating up any time I'm not sleeping in lol :'D At least being this stressed means my immune system is in overdrive mode and I haven't been sick since /knocks on wood My mother, on the other hand, caught a super nasty flu as she was recovering from that stomach bug, she's still to fully kick it, ugh.

Glad to hear the letter arrived! :) Snail mail is just a special treat in these hectic times <3
