On a whim, I went to Serendipity with Jason and his friend last night. The waiters were gay and bitchy, but the desserts were very yummy. I stayed away from their "Outrageous Banana Split" and went for the "Coward's Portion" instead. It was still as big as my head. (Inside joke: I thought of the little ass-scratching girl.)

I got a raise.

The usual road I take to work was blocked off due to construction, so I had to take Wall st. instead. It was a breath taking scene. I don't think I've seen this many tourists since the summer I visited the Great Wall of China. My boss just asked me to construct an email regarding the Chinese revaluation that will be used as a template to send out to all the clients who aren't news savvy. It's a small task, and maybe no one else wanted to do it, but I still felt special. 8D

First special project of my career, and I'm in complete charge of it! xP

The Four Seasons was so wonderful! It was interesting to sit among rich old people who were asking each other "So where do you summer?" I'm summering at Battery Park, and it's been great so far eating from delis and seeing a movie once in a while.

They are filming a movie near Wall st. I have no idea what it's about or who's in it. The streets have been blocked off for days and all I can see are tall lights, mic on a stick and camera. What I do know is that there is going to be a woman in a wedding dress involved. So look for that in a theatre near you.
