Woke up to the prettiest roses. Usually a sign for a fun-filled day ahead!
Went to the zoo for the first time in ... 17 years? 35 minutes on the subway was well worth it. I saw zebras, tigers and snakes up close. But most importantly, I saw giraffes! I don't know why I'm particularly fascinated by giraffes. I definitely had some awesome wild fun.
Dinner was served at Delmonico's. Their food and wine were absolutely wonderful! Two old waiters brought a slice of cake and sang Happy Birthday to me, one of them said my name the French way.
The day ended with us watching Family Guy in bed. Couldn't have gotten any better than this.
