Hurting inside
How long will it take to get over this year? Decorating for Christmas has opened a whole new set of wounds. Christmases past....lost treasures...broken promises and trusts. I shouldn't let this consume me...but it does if I'm still or quiet. I can't go home for the Holidays ever again. -
This Year
This year has been second only to 2002 in the horrible department. I watched my childhood home being cleaned out and my childhood being thrown away. It was traumatic seeing the locks changed, knowing I can never go home again. It still causes me nightmares. -

When it Rains....
Seems I only post here when I have bad news, but I have to vent somewhere. My Dad has just told us that the bank is forclosing on his house and he is not going to fight it. He has just given up on trying to fight them...Worst part is it couldn't come at a worse time! After we just bought our new house...plus still paying mortgage on the old house ( Read more... ) -
Surreal....
Late Sunday night, C's stepbrother's wife died of anorexia nervousa...she was 26. I've dealt with a lot of things, but this is the most horrible, senseless death I can think of.
We can not fathom why a vibrant, intelligent person would do this to herself. I understand it is partly a mental condition too...but WHY? So sad...such a waste... -

I'm sending all of my friends a warm wish for Happy Holidays! We are still trying to close on the new house....longest process I have ever endured! This just in...we are back on for the closing today. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. -

My son is making me insane!!!
My fifteen year old is going to make me open a vein yet. Can someone please explain to me why after two years playing football...going to be varsity this year...my oldest suddenly wants to be the freakin' drum major for the marching band?!!!
