So, today was the first day in like ... forever that I've even bothered looking at the NCIS page over at the Pit of Voles and I was both saddened and relieved to realize that I was utterly disinterested in everything I saw there. Saddened because I devoted a lot of time and virtual ink to NCIS, plus there were some familiar names whom I felt bad at

I completely and utterly empathize with you on this...I'm not quite where you are, yet, but it's coming. I find that I really haven't missed it all that much this summer, and I'm not seeking out fic to keep me over until Sept. I am perfectly happy with my two fave summer shows, although, they don't pull my attention the same way that NCIS did...but, nothing may ever again. It's just not the same. I feel you.

I know it's just breadcrumbs, being 100 words per day, but please join me in a trip down memory lane with the NCIS Daily Drabble. Going back to season 1 and watching everything with fresh eyes has been rejuvenating for me and has revealed just how good this show could be.

It just might lift your spirits a tiny bit...I know it has mine. It's on both ff.n and on my LJ.
