Moving On...
So, today was the first day in like ... forever that I've even bothered looking at the NCIS page over at the Pit of Voles and I was both saddened and relieved to realize that I was utterly disinterested in everything I saw there. Saddened because I devoted a lot of time and virtual ink to NCIS, plus there were some familiar names whom I felt bad at not having read their latest. Relieved because, after three seasons of increasing disenchantment and disgust, I finally have reached the point where I can just move on, knowing that I didn't leave the show ... it left me. Even the usual things that irked me so much - the wildly OOC DiNozzo/Gibbs, the silly McGee/Ziva tripe, the Paragon Tony or Paragon Tim stories - barely caused more than an eyeroll.
Sad, but all things end, I guess.
