Cammy isn't doing so well again... The poor baby's sores that were left from the bandaging haven't healed. They haven't improved at all really. Her knee is completley healed, no scab, all skin. So I know I have been super awful about posting... I have been SO busy, it is incredible.

Cammy is doing AWESOME! The vet came out yesterday and determined that we don't need to wrap her knee anymore, as long as the footing in her small paddock is dry and soft! Yay! Because of the rain, she spent the day yesterday closed in, and she will probably be ( Read more... )

Cammy is doing better. We had a scary couple days when she went lame but it seems that all is well now. Today she hardly had any drainage and it looks like there is some skin starting to try to grow. Yay Cammy! She is done with her Betril and back on SMZ's. Hopefully the bandaging ( Read more... )

Miss Camelias seemed good again today. We changed her bandage in the morning and the knee is still looking pretty good. We let her wander the barn while we did the stalls but it was SO nice out (sunny and near 80) that we just had to let her outside. We put her in the area at the top of all the dirt pastures where the wash rack is. She got to eat ( Read more... )

This morning I decided to sleep a little bit before I went to see Cam. The owner of the barn called me as I was eating breakfast and asked me if she could let Cam wander the the barn (closed in of course) while she did stalls. Cam got her feet done today! Yay!!! She was sore but she did it. They really needed to be done, or I wouldn't have even asked my farrier. He was great and gave her lots of breaks when she needed it. Cam is usually a quick trim anyway, she has amazing hooves.
