Overslept this morning, am leaving for MD 3 hours later than planned. Urgh. Said goodbyes, stopped at music library to return recalled books (recalling a book right at the start of break? Not cool, people!). Sad cat is sad in his box in the car. But I have a ridiculous audiobook to keep me entertained for the next 12 hours ( Read more... )

Ugh, I had them do that to me, once. I had to call a friend and the leasing office to have the leasing office let the friend in, so the friend could riffle through my stuff and find said book and return it so I wouldn't get a $25/day fine.

Ugh! One of them was due today, so it was actually recalled back around the last day of classes or so, but it was at my carrel and I hadn't had a chance to get into the music library and grab it to return it until today. But the other one was just recalled this weekend, and was due 12/28... on which date the library isn't even open! :P Blah.

what is your route? you are very very welcome to stop here for a night or a meal on the way (back i assume as you prob won't get this till you arrive). our mantle is being delivered tomorrow and rowan is as cute as ever ;)

Through Ohio, I take I-70 all the way, which I think is pretty far south of you, yes? But it might be nice to see you all on the way back, if you don't mind a feline visitor as well.

Yay! Definitely, though I think it will have to be after Christmas if that's okay with you. And I'd love to have a chance to saw away on your cello... I didn't end up bringing my gamba after all. :-/ Oddly enough, I'm feeling a strong desire to honk away horribly on recorders and try to make the dog howl.
