Kind of headachey and tired today. My boss asked me to create an OCLC catalog record for a collection of recorded interviews we have (it's for a grant project)-- she already created most of the record in an Excel spreadsheet, but I have to put it into OCLC and do some of the fiddly bits (fixed fields, etc.) It's not that hard, but I'm trying to ( Read more... )

And you already know my feelings about spinning, but I'll write 'em anyway: WOW. I want to try that so badly! It's so pretty! SQUEE! ;)

I took a drop-spindle class last night, and one of the things the teacher said was, "Once you have your skein all wrapped up, it's so pretty, it's a finished product all by itself. You don't ever have to do anything with it again, if you don't want to." That yarn so SO pretty!
