Last night, Schmendrick did the cutest and goofiest thing I've ever seen him do (and there have been a lot of incredibly cute and goofy things, let me tell you.) He was playing with one of the plush catnip cherries that chronarchy so readily supplies for us. Awwwww! That's an adorable Schmendrick story. I can just picture it. Hippity hop! And hooray for your mom's kitten. I hope we're going to get pictures. :) 8 months is just a little younger than Lotus is now... a very entertaining age, I have to say. (Where "entertaining" means "batshit looney half the time but completely adorable nonetheless.")

oh, i love the persians without squished faces! all of the fluffy without all of the weird.

moki used to do the side-jumpy things, which none of my other cats have done. but never two legs across the room. that's hysterical.

I love that quote from your mom. That rocks.
I want a kitten but Puddy (our 18-yr-old) would not be into that so much. She spends enough time hiding from the world as it is, I couldn't think to torture her that way.
Yay for Schmendrick tricks! He's such an awesome cat.
