Ok, really, did Disney REALLY need to make Bambi 2? Really, I saw the commercial for it tonight and I was like... OMGWTFBBQ! And I was also like "Thats Patrick Stewart! OMGWTF?!?"

When they run out of ideas for things to make, when they cannot find anything new to rip off from someone else, what does that say?

SEQUELS!! And yes...I agree this is a horrid idea by Disney. Patrick Stewart I can't really blame. They probably threw a lot of money his way, not to mention he can now say he's been in a Disney cartoon. Can't think of any others he might have voiced.

Don't forget, he also played King Richard for "Robin Hood: Men in Tights"

Yes, they apparently did. I wouls suppose it's marginally possible as the original Bambi is one in a series of books and the adventure continues but I'm thinking they've probably botched it since I heard rumblings about the story being re-written to tell about how the stag of the forest raises Bambi. The next book in the series tells about him coming of age and replacing the stag of the forest, not about his being raised by the stag.

I'll pass. Disney has jumped the shark.

This is just Eisner leftovers. Now that they've got new management, hopefully nothing like this will ever happen again. I hope.
