On the walk back from the Auto Show (we had decided to ditch the shuttle and walk to the subway up Figueroa), we got to see a LOT of really cool buildings... some which we pass by every day and never really notice.

So Peter and Joe and I decided to head out to the LA Auto Show last weekend.  Now, in reality, this is just another excuse for me to take pictures while Joe and Peter studied the cars. We took the subway from Union Station to the show, a trip which prompted Peter to suggest lunch at:

Back about a year ago, or so... somewhere around there.... we had a little event at work. Okay, it was a big event, and our creative team was challenged to design some Alice in Wonderland hats for the "Alice" part of the event. These were insanely detailed - those flower faces are tiny sculpts! I took some pics of my favorites.
