A Cloudy Day Forgotten

I will be the first to admit that I take a lot of pictures - apparently back when it was still rainy and cloudy outside I took went up to Griffith Park Obseravtory...

I had done this about a year ago on a particularly foggy late afternoon. That afternoon, the mood was almost zen-like in its calm.

So October 2009 looked like this

In the first photo, at first glance ... I thought, how interesting ... a line of monks are walking prayerfully away from the camera, then you realize it's a row of closed patio umbrellas:)

Shows what a camera, in the right hands, and accomplished eye can achieve ... Thanks for sharing these photos!

And so I did! The first two look almost ghostly. Nice.
