I was looking forward to your comment !!! I'm so happy you agree and don't think I'm crazy !
> I totally agree with you about Bella/Kirsten ! She does exactly the same during the Ballet scene when James hold her against the wall. That's a really funny thing to see actually !
> 'an explosion of epic proportions' : these are the exact words !! I agree with you completely ! Maybe I sound angry and bitter now but when I was watching the film, I was laughing too !!
> OMG I FORGOT ABOUT THAT ! You're so good Emily. That's so ridiculous when Rosalie says thing about Emmett !! Where does that come from exactly ? We should make a list of ridiculous / out of place things in Twilight ! That'd be fun !
I'm so happy we agree too ! I wish we could see it together !! The book will ALWAYS be better than the movie, I second that ! :D
CHARLIE WAS THE BEST PART. In the book, he's got no depth, but I nearly cried at the look on his face when Bella left, my heart broke for him. In fact, I agree with all of what you liked, and what you dislike too. And the Humans--I loved their interactions; they seemed like actual people--not 2D caricatures.
The part where they first walk into the cafeteria? I think it was a mistake on the filmmakers parts to do that in slow motion. Slow motion is too high-school-teen-movie, too cliche. And, at times, the make-up was a bit much.
Random moment in the film that I loved: the bit after the baseball game, where Edward can't seem to fasten Bella's seat belt and she flips a little on him and yells--I liked that because it made Edward seem less perfect.
You know when she does throw her bag down in the woods? And they go further up the mountain? It bothers me that they just left the bag there. I know this is a small thing, but it bothered me, and I kept wondering about the bag :o)
So you saw it ?? But you didn't tell me !!!!!!!! I thought you had had too much work and couldn't find the time to go or something. Your opinion on this film means a lot to me. So you share my opinion ? Would you say you liked it /enjoyed it

I did, but then classes ended, and I had a late dinner with my friend Moira who insisted that Now was the time, she really wanted to see it. So we went. I didn't want to say anything because I knew you would have to wait for January and i felt bad :o/
I would say that it wasn't bad, per se, but there were things that could have been greatly improved--there were too many moments that Moira and I lol'd, literally, in the theater (thankfully it was a late showing and there were no giggling schoolgirls--and we laughed a few times, so I wonder if the few other people there thought we were the schoolgirls, oh dear O_O). I'm somewhat disappointed with Catherine Hardwicke, because I've seen her first film (Thirteen) and i really enjoyed that. it wasn't the worst film I've seen, and it wasn't the best

I'm happy you don't think I sound like a crazy person !
But ... YOU STILL MUST READ TWILIGHT !! I mean it. I'm sure you'd love it ! I love HP too. This is a big part of my reading history (?) but Twilight is different.
:D I LOVE MUSE BY THE WAY !!!!!! Love your icon. And you're very welcome. I know Catherine Hardwick loves Muse and so do we but ... we must be objective and give Muse what they deserve which is to say the greatness of this scene.
