So you saw it ?? But you didn't tell me !!!!!!!! I thought you had had too much work and couldn't find the time to go or something. Your opinion on this film means a lot to me. So you share my opinion ? Would you say you liked it /enjoyed it ?
I agree about Charlie in the book ! That's really the truth ! The jokes in the film are easy but they work especially giving the film in itself. You're happy when he's on screen ! And I agree ! He's such a good actor. Everything works : the actor, the interaction Bella/Charlie, his jokes... He's great :D
Ohh god, the slow motion ? I agree completely. Easy. Like the rest of the film really. You wonder whether the director has a real talent really. They used everything you can see over and over again in teen movies. There's no creation in that.
OH YES !! I LOVED THAT PART TOO !!!! :D I forgot about it :)
LOL Your comment made me laugh ! So true !!!
I don't know if that was good or not but I liked all the times we saw Mike. Especially when he asks her out to prom and you see Edward in the background. And when he says 'he looks at you like you're something to eat' and everything else. He's the Mike from the book.
I did, but then classes ended, and I had a late dinner with my friend Moira who insisted that Now was the time, she really wanted to see it. So we went. I didn't want to say anything because I knew you would have to wait for January and i felt bad :o/
I would say that it wasn't bad, per se, but there were things that could have been greatly improved--there were too many moments that Moira and I lol'd, literally, in the theater (thankfully it was a late showing and there were no giggling schoolgirls--and we laughed a few times, so I wonder if the few other people there thought we were the schoolgirls, oh dear O_O). I'm somewhat disappointed with Catherine Hardwicke, because I've seen her first film (Thirteen) and i really enjoyed that. it wasn't the worst film I've seen, and it wasn't the best.
I liked, as we've said, Charlie, the Humans, etc; the dinner in Port Angeles was great; Kristen Stewart's very good, etc. This probably wouldn't have bothered you, but sometimes, Rob Pattinson's accent went a bit wobbly--sometimes he sounded like he was a 30s gangster from Brooklyn :o) But just as well, sometimes he was spot on. Of the vampires, I can only say that I did not like Jasper--he had one static facial expression, never-changing. And the vampire makeup, a bit wonky at times.
I liked Mike too--in the book, I thought he was annoying, but now I realize that he's human, and al humans are annoying sometimes, ourselves included :o)
