Ran the Liverpool 10k this morning. I've not got the proper time for it yet, but I undoubtedly did better than at the last one, what with staying upright for the entirety of the course and not pulling, twisting or otherwise damaging any body parts.

( My sub-50' time still eludes me, though. )

Thu 5th - 4m on threadmill. A bit hot, got really bothered just after 3m, invoked the invisible personal trainer and finished in 33 minutes.

Day off today.

Monday - off, yoga @ the gym
Tuesday - 4m on the treadmill. 35 minutes, ok if a little hot.
Wednesday - 5.8m in 48min. Interesting. Weather ideal, course mostly flat.

Slept till 9am this morning, which is like, forever.

Ran a leisurely 8 miles this afternoon, tried the sprinting thing up the hilly bits.

Dance class was good, my partner only stood on my toes once and we've worked out most, if not all of our steps.

Not a complaint in sight. A special day indeed.

Second day of ESR implementation. ( Work woes. )

This is a weekend of surprises. First That Bastard AdobeTM lets me import all the clips it had doggedly refused to have anything to do with for months, then Aukestrel tags me to do something. Needless to say no-one's ever done that before, either.

I should be banned from opening my gob on anything meteorological.  As soon as I shut down the laptop this morning, ready to take off for my run, the skies opened.  It lashed it down.  We even lost satellite reception.  Then The Beloved started complaining about lunch, so we had that.  Then it started raining again.  By the time it looked dry ( Read more... )
