Wandered around Lausanne today. Everyone keeps telling me it's SOOOOO beautiful there, but I just don't see it. Fribourg has real charm. Lausanne just has a spiffy train ride (with admittedly stunning views of Lac Léman and vineyards, but that's outside the city, not within it). My glasses broke today. I NEED new ones. But when I showed the Niki (who was a bit busy, but still) she just told me that there was a place I could go in Romont and left. My French is dire.
