Hey everyone,

It's my last year and I find myself trying to make sure that things are set up well for the RA staff next year. I am wondering what you all, for your schools, think the biggest area of potential improvement for ResLife should be. I know some of you have staff who check this group, but this seems tame and general enough.

It's getting to be that time of year that we celebrate and appreciate our RAs. Everyone celebrates at different times, which is awesome because it lends to that surprise, but I'm wondering if we an swap some ideas of things you've done for your RAs ( Read more... )

I was just wondering, what kind of kickbacks do you get for being a RA? For example, for being RAs, we get:

• Free Housing
• Free Meal Plan (If you live in Freshman Housing, if not, you get a bigger paycheck)
• $80 paycheck (if you live in Freshman Housing. Otherwise, Apartment Style is $160.)

I'm so glad this comm got directed my way, because I swear, I need people like me to talk to...I mean outside of my current RA team. I've had some recent vandalism on my bulletin boards and posters...vulgar language and such, I won't go into details.

Does anyone have some suggestions on how to deal with it/how to prevent it/what to do about it?
