I went and saw Star Trek last night with my friend Josh and it was actually really good. I'm not into Star Trek, I'm not a space theme lover by any means, but this movie was good. I've never watched the show or any of the movies and I still enjoyed this movie so I'm guessing you'll like it. It is shot beautifully and has awesome special effects.

I am going to see Incubus this summer! I'm so excited. It will be my fourth time seeing them. I wanted to go to two shows but the tickets are so expensive! Damn ticketmaster and their lame service charges lol.

yayyy i'm so glad to read this cause i'm not into that spacey stuff either but i wanna go see it cause even non-fans have said it was great :) & yes chris pine is sooo sexy!

Oh yes, I believe you will like it even without any interest in anything space related. It has amazing special effects and is actually funny in a lot of parts. Then on top of all that you have sexy Chris Pine running around so really you can't go wrong lol.

I wasn't sure if I was going to go see it either but my curiosity won out. If anything I'd suggest if you don't want to see it in theaters, I'd rent it someday because it is definitely worth seeing at least once :)
