[Mihael and Light have been roaming the hallways for a while now, occasionally poking their heads into rooms. eventually they find themselves making their way past the door to Light's room, and just as they approach it, it swings open. Light pauses, looking over as L emerges.]

( and then i came right back, threw my arms around you. )

[putting the pencil aside, Light re-reads the note; despite his somewhat shaky handwriting, it's clearly intelligible.
