Thunderstorms rolled through the area last night - knocked the power out at a little after 2 am. And, considering I went to bed at 1 and it was quite warm up in my room, when my fan went bye bye, it took away the likeliness of me getting any nigh nigh. I have a doggie... demanding attention. She's the perfect height to do that head-butt of affection/"Pet me, damn you!" thing into the gut that usually cats are more prone too (I swear, her grandmother musta been a mountain lion or something) while I'm sitting about two feet off the floor in the computer chair... Niner now had a doggy door to use on the front porch. It's the biggest one the store had, and she barely fits through it... And this isn't even with her being fat (though I'm sure that's part of it...) - she too tall to go through it standing up straight! So. The annual washing of the doggie is now complete. And it only took three full grown adults, two buckets of water, and a hose! It would normally only take two people, one to hold her and one to soap her, but it went much quicker with three and Niner now smells a *whole* lot better.
