(no subject)
There are a few disadvantages to having the house to yourself for a few days... namely, the fact that there is no longer anyone else around who gets up earlyish to answer the phone when it rings at 7:30 in the morning but yourself. Gramma called at 7:30 this morning thinking she could ask my dad something about pipes for her faucet. Needless to say, I couldn't help her out much. :)
Another disadvantage is the fact that there is no longer anyone else to let the dog in/out in the middle of the night. Nine started barking at like 4:30 this morning right underneath my window... when I had only just gotten to sleep like at 2. And then of course with the phone call from Gramma this morning, I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night. Ah, well, such is life. I was planning on getting up at 8 anyway, and it's not that I was really gonna get anymore sleep in that last half hour. :)
