Well, I use bookmark backup, that backs up my bookmark file daily into a folder I designate (along with a couple of other files, such as my preferences and passwords, which is why I use it instead of 1.5's automatic backup), but that's mainly for "in case of catastrophic failure".
But your bookmark file is located in Documents and Settings/Your Name/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Long string of letters and numbers and is handily called bookmarks.html .
now, see, the only bookmarks I've been able to find in that mess is the ones that come automatically whenever you download Firefox, such as MSN.com and Hotmail and Quicksearch and all sorts of other stuff I don't use. Of course, I'm looking in the Firefox folder in the Programs file under My Computer, so I might be looking in the wrong place.
Yeah, you need to get into your profile. Which isn't under Programs, it's under Documents and Settings, and then you have to figure out which name it's under - it'll be under "Mozilla" in application data in one of them.
