I love Firefox. I *adore* Firefox! Firefox is the best thing that has happened to Internet Browsing since porn found its way onto the world-wide web.
I do, however, have one teiny tiny complaint about it. As of yet, I have been unable to find out how to save/transfer/whatever the bookmarks and scrapbook in such a way as to make them easily transferable to a different computer. A back up system, so to speak. With Internet Explorer, as awful as it is, all you had to do was save the "favorites" folder to a disk or junk drive and you could carry them with you wherever you went, *and* have the web addresses saved so, in the unfortunately circumstances that you computer crashed, you would't have to go and refind every last website using only your memory. i have had computers crash on me. *Several* times. On several different computers. And while refinding all the programs and what not is annoying, it's not impossible. If you use the program even semi-regularly, you pretty much know the name of it, and a simple internet search will get you what you want easily enough. Bookmarks and favorites, however, are a bit harder to come by. There are a few, granted, like Live Journal and Google and such that are easy enough to find, but other websites are a bit harder to remember and find. And, whenever one of my computers crash, the thing I'm usually the most disappointed about is the loss of all those websites. Especially when I lose most of my favorite fan fictions in the process, as well.
Anyone who uses Firefox know how to save these things? Is there one of those handy extensions that will do it for us? Cause, as well behaved as Shadowlite has been so far, I can't imagine that will last once she has a few years on her. I'd rather have a way to back up these files before she gets old and senile on me.
