It's been a looong time.

A lot has happened in the last...decade?

In 2022, My hearts love passed away. We had 14 years of wonder and Love, and I will be eternally grateful that I got to spend the rest of his life with him.

Until we meet again, babe.   Always and forever.

I never did get to be a nurse, but I'm OK.  

It's alive! But on FB nowdays....

I finally made it to Scotland and England. Inverness was wonderful, Loch Ness was COLD, Edinburgh was fantastic! I touched base with the English relatives I had not seen since childhood and was able to photograph the house where my mother grew up in Blackpool. Think of the things you can be thankful for in your life. Even if it's just one experience or one person.

I am personally thankful for my wonderful (but sometimes insane) family, my friends; both online and off, my job and my continued good health. I have seen too many people with none of these things during this past year.

Finally started back on volunteer duty after 6 weeeks away. On my birthday I was kidnapped by my daughter (also a volunteer day) right after the Race for the Cure was over. (5K in 35 minutes ^_^!). Had a wonderful seafood buffet at the casino, followed by strawberries dipped in a chocolate fountain. Nirvana ( Read more... )

Wow, a busy summer, and it's not over yet. Only 11 days until Kansas City faire (The Festival of Fooles)! I am already hearing there will be some folks aiming to make trouble for us poor wenches.
