I liked this view on their relationship! In a lot of the fics out there it seems like Kirk turns over a new leaf rather quickly (aka McCoy has the one cock to rule them all...), so I really enjoyed reading this slow progression of Kirk realizing that McCoy is the only one he really wants to be with but still making mistakes!

Hehe. the 'affectionate man hugging' had me cracking up while I ws writing it. I think that Jim would occasionally like to cuddle, but wouldn't call it that, and then the line popped in my head and I knew I had to write it. XP

I Love the music they use on Bones! My favorite has to be Rain by Patty Griffin. This song is deff. up to Bones standards, I like it. I'm not sure it fits with the next part per se, but I could make a one shot out of it if it doesn't. And I agree, the song sounds like McKirk. Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know when I'll have the next part or the series or a fic for the song done, I signed up for reel_startrek so I've been working on that. 'Course I can multi-task. ;)

As for rec.ing my fics. I'd be honored. I'm glad you think they're that good. :)

i don't recall that song. i'll have to look that up on youtube sometime. yeah, bones has great music. i loved it when they played "hot blooded" by journey and booth and brennan danced to it like dorks. also, "mona lisa" that i remember from hearing first on gilmore girls. anyways, i think "keep on trying" is my fave so far from the show. great lyrics and the way it's sung in the episode of bones and the live version i showed you. and speaking of bones, kirk and mccoy remind me of booth and brennan a little. their hang ups, the way they understand each other, bicket, etc. lol :p

well, however you may use the song, i'll just be happy to see it used! oh yeah, as for that community i heard about that. good luck with that! and when i do get around to do a mckirk entry, i'll send you the link!
