hey! i've read most of your mckirk fics so far. i like the issues you're dealing with for bones in this might be series. anyways, i was wondering if i could rec any of your fics on my lj sometime? thinking of doing a massive mckirk entry someday...

also, since you're letting people suggest songs, i just have to leap at the chance of reccommending this song: "keep on trying" by poco. it was featured on an episode of bones in season two. I Love the music they use on Bones! My favorite has to be Rain by Patty Griffin. This song is deff. up to Bones standards, I like it. I'm not sure it fits with the next part per se, but I could make a one shot out of it if it doesn't. And I agree, the song sounds like McKirk. Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know when I'll have the next part or the series or a fic for the song done, I signed up for reel_startrek so I've been working on that. 'Course I can multi-task. ;)

As for rec.ing my fics. I'd be honored. I'm glad you think they're that good. :)

i don't recall that song. i'll have to look that up on youtube sometime. yeah, bones has great music. i loved it when they played "hot blooded" by journey and booth and brennan danced to it like dorks. also, "mona lisa" that i remember from hearing first on gilmore girls. anyways, i think "keep on trying" is my fave so far from the show. great lyrics and the way it's sung in the episode of bones and the live version i showed you. and speaking of bones, kirk and mccoy remind me of booth and brennan a little. their hang ups, the way they understand each other, bicket, etc. lol :p

well, however you may use the song, i'll just be happy to see it used! oh yeah, as for that community i heard about that. good luck with that! and when i do get around to do a mckirk entry, i'll send you the link!
