Thank you! I loved the way Mer showed the change in Peter and James' relationship as they got older in the original fic, so I really wanted to focus on that here.

Thank you! I was so thrilled when I saw that you'd chosen this story to remix and you've taken it in such a wonderful direction. It is a mirror - I love how you flipped the focus from past to present and the journey Peter takes to helping James. I especially love the details of his dislocation - he's been thrown out of his expected role as a younger brother and he grows into what James needs beautifully! Thank you again - I couldn't have hoped for anything better!

Oh wow, I'm so glad you like it! You won't believe how intimidated I was when I found out you were my remixee. I love how you created and developed the universe of Wilson and his brothers in your stories and this story especially showed the bond between James and Peter so beautifully I had to try my hand at remixing it. I was a bit nervous writing from Peter's POV, because he is technically an OC and I didn't have a reference for his voice from the show, but it's a tribute to how deeply and thoroughly you've developed him that I could perceive his personality clearly enough to write him here. :)

Peter was wonderful - I'm so happy that you chose to enrich his character like this. He feels absolutely true to the way I imagine him, but at the same time you've made him your own.

Thank you! The deep, heartbreaking sense of loss in the original was what drew me to it, and I can only hope that I did justice to that.
