Got my interview and I am not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing that I am probably one of the last interviews for the consolate. Interviews are from Wednesday, February 18th to Monday, February 23rd and my interview is at 4:20 Monday afternoon. The interview is 15 minutes. 15 minutes? That isn't alot of time for an interview. I got the JET Confirmation number today. Now I know they received it. Maybe my dream last night was a preminition.

Had a dream last night that I was accepted into JET, but only had the weekend to leave my job, go to Japan and start there. Had to leave current job without telling them. So then I got to the school and was just sitting in back of the class observing and getting used to it, but the teacher when he taught, he spoke fluent english and I wondered ( Read more... )

I have filled out everything to the best of my ability and now it is out of my hands.  I only hope that in about a month and half I get a notice that I am called in for an interview.  I am so damned impatient when it comes to these things.

Here is my "final" draft of my JET Essay.  I will probably print it off tomorrow.  Anybody who can give it a quick read and give their opinion would be greatly appreciated.  You will notice that I centered on my multi-cultural childhood.  I think it will only help me.
