[No. Way. She grabs her journal and practically shouts into it.]

Chrodechild?!

[Marica? Truly, there was no need to shout, but what was she doing in this world? Had a search party been sent then?]

Marica? What are you doing in this place? I thought only Sieg and Liu were sent with me.

[realityanchor]

Sieg and...? Well -- look, let me come find you. Can you tell me where you are?

[regalblade]

Near a river and heading towards what looks to be a village. [As best as she can at least without shoes and in a forest. Truly, it was frustrating to have lost her belongings somehow.]

[That's a start. And since Chrodechild's looking kind of bare, she takes care to grab a coat before she dashes out the door.]

There's more than one river around here, so you'll have to tell me more. Do you feel a breeze or anything coming in from where you are? [Hopefully, the sea breeze might be a help.]

You sound as if you know this place well, Marica. But how could you when you only could have just arrived like I did? But I do see mountains to the east and north if the directions in this world are the same as ours.

It's kind of a long story. I'll explain everything -- but first, did you mention Sieg and Liu?

I did. They were trapped with me in whatever that place was. I do apologize if we caused you concern when we went missing.

Trapped...? You can't mean -- the Ravine of Infinity?

[regalblade]

I do not know the name of the place. I only know that we somehow went to other worlds, but weren't really there since the people didn't even notice us and could walk right through us. It was quite unnerving.

[realityanchor]

[It's a familiar story. So does that mean that this Chrodechild is from the past...? It's strange to even think about.]

I think I know what's going on. Don't worry, I'll see you soon. Fifteen minutes, tops!

I will continue to head towards the village. We should meet halfway then. I just cannot stay idle when I know Fredegund and my people will be worried.

[realityanchor]

Sounds like a plan. I wouldn't worry about worrying Fredegund or anyone though, since... Well, you'll get it soon. Anyway, I'll be with you in a moment!

[And off she goes with enough reckless abandon to make even Sieg proud. Before long, Chrodechild might be able to see her charging up along the river.]

[Marica, that whole not worrying about worrying just made absolutely no sense. Of course that's not going to stop Chrodechild from worrying.] I'll wait for your explanation then. None of this seems to make any sense.

[And she will definitely see Marica headed her way and hurry up to meet her. Of course, a woman like her in white and a dress is likely a rather odd sight.]

[Chrodechild's legion of admirers would probably say that she looks noble no matter what she's wearing, and Marica is inclined to agree. As she nears, she slows down to catch her breath, though it doesn't detract from her open grin any.]
