[While Chrodechild was definitely relieved to be out of whatever that strange place she had been sent to was, she was not pleased to find her half of the Chronicle of the Twin Blades was missing along with her clothing and her companions. Had they ended up in another world somehow? And how did she pick up a set of black wings? This was ( Read more... )

The nearest town is the village, but there's no way to leave through any gateways or caravans. [Whatever those may be.] ...Your journal is also upside down.

Oh! My apologies, I've never used such a thing before. [And she turns it over so it's now facing correctly.] But you say there are no gateways? And no Wanderers in this world?

No worries. [But yes, back to the matter at hand.] No, there aren't. This place is an enclosed area from the rest of the world that we cannot leave. Do you need help navigating yourself to the village?

[She's definitely not accepting that answer, but will be graceful and accept what assistance she can get.] Is there only one village then?

[If that is the case, she can definitely find it since she can see some buildings in the distance that did appear like it could be a town, she mostly wanted to be sure it would be friendly since many worlds were facing the same threat her own was.]

[No. Way. She grabs her journal and practically shouts into it.]

Chrodechild?!

[Marica? Truly, there was no need to shout, but what was she doing in this world? Had a search party been sent then?]

Marica? What are you doing in this place? I thought only Sieg and Liu were sent with me.

Sieg and...? Well -- look, let me come find you. Can you tell me where you are?

Near a river and heading towards what looks to be a village. [As best as she can at least without shoes and in a forest. Truly, it was frustrating to have lost her belongings somehow.]

I hate to say it, but I think you just missed them.

[Well. Sort of. They've obviously been gone for a while, though he wouldn't exactly know when.]

[And since no one has yet to explain time differences, that just sounds impossible. She knows very well that Sieg is not the type to leave a comrade behind.]

That cannot be possible. I was just with them.

Perhaps in your world. But when they arrived here, they were on their own. Time is a funny thing in this place.

Could you explain what you mean by that? I admit my knowledge on Gateways is basic, but time should still be moving when using them.

Welcome to Luceti.

I don't think there's anything like what you're looking for here. Especially if it's a way to get out. The Malnosso are unfortunately careful in that regard.

Luceti? Is that the name of this world then? And who are the Malnosso? Are they some sort of enemy this world has?

If you're looking for Liu, I think he left around four months ago. Not too sure about this Sieg, though.

I don't even see how that could be possible. He was just with me not long ago.

We were in a place that was between worlds. It was definitely not our world.
