AMP 2011: Day 75
I've mentioned my comics-verse sluttiness before, right? It's true: I simply cannot commit to only one universe of spandex-clad superheroes and master villains. And even though my brain is currently crushing like mad on Marvel's X-Men: First Class, I'm not ashamed to admit that DC's Batman:Under the Red Hood made me smile - Jensen Ackles, Neil Patrick Harris, and Bruce Greenwood do the voices, okay? Dean Winchester, Barney Stinson, and Captain Pike, making a comic book movie. It's awesome!
And, in honor of my glee that Mr. Ackles did the voice of Red Hood himself, we've got two Under the Red Hood podfics of awesome for you to listen to. And, they're both written by musesfool, which ups the awesome-quotient by a factor of ten!
First up is Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc, which is awesome because it involves Jason and Dick snuggling together, and Dick helping to end Jason's spree of crime-like crimefighting via stealth-hugging. Yes, stealth-hugging. I kinda wanted to put a clip from the song Put Your Arms Around Me, Honey as the intro/outro music, because that would have been adorable...but I couldn't find a decent-enough audio clip of the song to use. Next up is Backwards and in Heels, which is a short little look into the background of Ms. Li - the only female character in the entire movie ;-) And, she's pretty badass, and full of scheming plots and devious receptionist skills. Take a listen - download the mp3 here.
