I Haz Sleevezes!
I finished the assembly and hems for my Italian working class dress. Yay! Now to make lots of lacing holes...six on each sleeve, seven on each dress shoulder...three and a half of seven done on one shoulder. Then anchor and reinforce the skirt pleats, sew down the edges of the bodice guards, fingerloop a second lacing cord and put aiglets on both. ( Read more... ) -
ROV Challenge - Progress Report April #2
Thursday I went over to the Empress_Fuzzella's place and fitted, patterned and cut out my partlet. I managed to fit the whole thing into an irregular hunk of cloth left over from may last camicia. This is very good. OK, so it's only a little partlet. It's NEW. And I am MAKING IT ALL BY MYSELF! (With the help of some cheering and herding on the part ( Read more... ) -
