Finally finished the Cross Country portion of the equestrian Eventing completion in the Olympics. I think they broadcast around 6 hours worth of the event. Amazing, considering that in the past they might show at most an hour. The design of the jumps was just beautiful, and very English. I noticed the price jump at one of the gas stations yesterday. That one is always more expensive than others, but the jump to over $4 was noticeable.

ADDED: Found the stats (gasbuddy.com, sidebar). Illinois average:
one month ago, $3.524;
one week ago, $3.609;
one day ago, $3.846;
today, $3.997.

Love your title for this entry. :-) Glad you got to see so much of the cross country. Awesome wasn't it? I agree about the vests, they are amazing. I got to hear my fave brit announcer guy once more, on a Highlight of one of the teamjumping runs, on my Uverse cable tv olympics App. this is a cool thing our cable tv has, I can look at all kinds of olympics stuff on one place, it's like a computer desktop just for the Games. It made it easy to one-touch record all the equestrian events. (tho, sigh, they had time changes as always at the Olympics, and events moved but the DVR didn't know, so I didn't get to see the end of team jumping or any dressage from yesterday or today. Boo!)

Uh-oh! I may have missed last night's jumping, too. Maybe TiVo was smart enough to grab adjacent programming for me. =(
