Busy day. M and I headed out to the State Fair this morning. Our Bonsai club displays trees throughout the run of the fair, in 3 separate "shows". For the 2nd show, all of the trees must be native to Wisconsin. The club has to provide tree sitters to watch over the trees for the entire time the Fair is open. Finally finished the Cross Country portion of the equestrian Eventing completion in the Olympics. I think they broadcast around 6 hours worth of the event. Amazing, considering that in the past they might show at most an hour. The design of the jumps was just beautiful, and very English. My favorite Olympic event is Eventing, an equestrian event made up of dressage (very precise riding, where you shouldn't be able to see the rider give the horse any cues), along the lines of doing the mandatory "figures" in figure skating.
