I went to see my family from Slovakia today while they are still in the states. I haven't seen them for two years also, so it was nice to get to talk. My little cousin is also learning Japanese, by some strange coincidence, so I started helping her with writing and stuff. So, even though it's 4:23 am right now, I just finished watching "Nagisa no Shindobaddo" or "Like Grans of Sand," and I was so moved by it. It's such an amazing movie- anyone who likes Japanese movies must watch this movie. It's definitely Japanese in style, very realistic and slow-paced.
