I went to see my family from Slovakia today while they are still in the states. I haven't seen them for two years also, so it was nice to get to talk. My little cousin is also learning Japanese, by some strange coincidence, so I started helping her with writing and stuff. haha, if you want i can give you makeshift lessons over the internet! it'll be a little strange, but you'll at least be able to get a feel for japanese, i think!

don't get too down about being emotional, though. sometimes it bugs me, but then i think that it's better than being completely jaded and just going through the motions. makes me feel a little better : )

t-hee, that would be cool! I tried learning from listening to audio tapes/cds but it's just difficult to motivate yourself to do that, and it's kind of boring. Going to a class and interacting with other people would be more fun I think.
