I've pretty much been offline since Christmas Eve between the family activities and the applying to grad school and the Supernatural/Cowboy Bebop marathon.

Some things:

As of last night, Mer had watched the entire first season of Supernatural EXCEPT the season finale, and was desperate to go home and watch it. She is a Sam girl and doesn't get what we see in Dean. I told her to wait for season two. She also says, "Everyone's going to die, aren't they? Their dad's totally going to die, right? Don't tell me!"

Also, She-Ra is totally exciting.

HOW DOES SHE NOT GET WHAT WE SEE IN DEAN? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND NOT LOVING DEAN WINCHESTER. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

i want to move to birmingham and go out to lunch with you and lee and talk about wentz. is there going to be writercon this summer? if there is we will have to corner our friends and make them see the glory of bandom.

I want you to move to Birmingham and go to lunch with us too. There better be writercon! It is my plan to spread the glory of bandom. All subtle like. It works best if you don't know you're being Wentzed until it's too late. We need to come up with a plan of attack before hand.

It reminds me a bit of Firefly, which doesn't surprise me because everyone always told me it would.
