I guess thing thing is still on.
I just updated my Mac to OSX 10.9 (Mavericks). Was checking my new Safari browser settings and my LJ opened up.
Still working fine I see.
Wow, my picture is old...but not as old as me.
I figure I should try to update that.
Now that Dana & I are legally married, Might as well post a pic.

Fungus Among Us
Just around the corner from my house, I noticed a Sulphur Shelf Fungus: Laetiporous sulphureous growing out of the street tree.
I ran back in the house to get my camera and took a few pictures before the fungus is no longer among us.
I poked at it gently. It was moist and springy.

Lightning Strikes
I have a job interview tomorrow. I have to find work just for health coverage alone.
It has been like living with the Sword of Damocles swinging over my head. My COBRA health covereage ends November 1st. I applied for private health insurance through Kaiser Permanente, after all their chirpy little ads on TV. They rejected me for 8 different ( Read more... ) -
I Love Peaches
Farmers Market Peaches in Hayward.
I love that peaches actually taste as good as they smell.
Today, off to WaterWorld in Concord to frolic with bears in a chlorinated cathedral of hedonism.
